Battlefield 2042 EA Play Game Pass: What to Expect from the Free Trial Period

EA has announced a free trial period for Battlefield 2042, allowing players across all platforms to experience the game without committing to a purchase. The trial period will be available on PS4, PS5, and PC (Steam) starting from December 1, at 11:30pm IST/10am PT, and ending on December 23, at 9:30pm IST/8am PT.

For those who are new to the game or haven't tried it yet, Battlefield 2042 has faced some criticism since its launch due to glitches, rendering issues, and underuse of map segments. However, EA is hoping to bring in more players by offering a free trial period. The trial will give players access to all multiplayer modes, including Season 3's new content.

Battlefield 2042's Classes system is divided into four types: Assault, Engineer, Recon, and Support. Each Class comes equipped with unique gadgets that are suited to specific situations on the battlefield. With the reintroduction of Classes as part of Season 3 in early 2023, players will be able to choose from a variety of roles and playstyles.

The free trial period is scheduled to coincide with Update 3.2, which is set to release in the early part of 2023. This update will include new content and bug fixes that address some of the issues that plagued the game at launch.
